Confucius writes
the " Ten Wings" The story of the I Ching continues some 600 years later, with Confucius (551-479 BC) under the Han dynasty. Fascinated by the Book of Changes, he undertook to write in his turn some commentaries known as the "Ten wings". There, Confucius reports the history of the book, comments on the laws that govern the succession of the trigrams and hexagrams and links up the principles of the Book of Changes to the whole philosophy of ancient China. << Back Next >> |
